Valentina Cecchi
Originally from Rome, Italy, Valentina attended Drexel University and completed B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering in 2005, 2007, and 2010, respectively. She is currently an Associate Professor and the Director of the Graduate Programs in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at UNC Charlotte. She is very active in IEEE PES, especially with the Power and Energy Education Committee (PEEC) and the Student Meeting Activities Subcommittee of PEEC.
