Dr. Ana Vitória Macêdo

Currently, she is professor at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, at the Academic Unit of Cabo de Santo Agostinho – UACSA. Graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2010), Master in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2012), with an emphasis on Electrical Power Systems. He did a doctorate at the same university (2017), going through a sandwich doctorate period at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU-Risø) deepening his knowledge of wind energy. Has experience in the area of Electrical Engineering, acting mainly on the following themes: transient stability, wind energy, fuzzy logic, pitch angle control of wind turbines, ancillary services from the Wind turbines.

She has been an IEEE member since 2009 and Young Professional member since 2013, besides WIE and PES membership. In 2019 she contributed to the foundation of the IEEE branch at UFRPE where she has been the counselor since then.
