Bala Bharadwaj
Bala Kotharu is working as a Project Lead Engineer for Black & Veatch. He and his team design High Voltage Substations for Utilities across the US. He did his Masters’ in Electrical Engineering from UMASS Lowell specializing in Energy Forecasting and a Bachelor’s from JNTU in Electrical Engineering Hyderabad, India.
Bala has been volunteering with IEEE PES for over 12 years serving on various committees. He is currently part of the Long-Range Planning Committee focusing on Chapter Activities, Membership Development, and Outreach.
He is always on the look for new ideas to help deliver PES Membership benefits to its members.
