Cat Wong is the Manager of Strategy and Commercialization at Entergy. She has industry experience in emerging technology implementation, integration of DERs, T&D planning, and protection analysis and standard development. She is an active contributor in the IEEE Power and Energy Society, Smart Grid committee, Women in Power Society, and DOE National Labs initiative. Cat presented at multiple conferences and local universities to showcase Entergy’s projects, share experience with students, and promote women in STEM effort. Cat completed her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and MBA (Hons) at Tulane University. She received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana and Project Management Professional
